Big BINGO tapes for "Hola Houston"

It's always a great day when we are able to help spread the word about the wonderful things our clients are doing to uplift and empower the community--especially when it involves FUN, FUN, FUN! We spent the afternoon at the studios of KRIV Fox 26 with Pastor Tommie Burrell and Dr. Simeon Queen of Bread of Life, Inc. who shared the couch with on-air personality Rita Garcia for a segment taping of "Hola Houston".

The two gentlemen invited Fox 26 viewers to Big BINGO, a weekly series of family bingo games, family fun, food, music and dancing where players can win up to $2,000 in cash prizes EVERY FRIDAY. The games are held in the gym on the campus of St. John’s Church - Northwest Campus (8787 N. Houston Rosslyn Rd., Houston, TX 77088). . Tune in to Fox 26 this Sunday, August 9, 5 AM - 9 AM to catch the segment.

Upon entry, game players can purchase bingo game sheets, cards, tabs and ink daubers to participate in the games. Attendees can also indulge in the Big BINGO concessions featuring an array of festive treats such as nachos, sliders, Frito pie, chili dogs, sweets and beverages. During breaks between games, BIG Bingo turns up the fun with music and line dancing.

All proceeds from all game and concession purchases (as well as any cash winnings that winners donate back) go to Bread of Life, Inc. and its weekly efforts to eradicate homelessness in Houston, feed the hungry and provide services to better the lives of Houston’s community. Every week, the organization distributes 18 tons of food between both its Downtown and Northwest locations. Bread of Life, Inc. is also recognized for it’s amazing service to Houston’s displaced, offering shelter, housing, facilities for showers, health screenings, counseling and social services to families and individuals in need.
